USB audio recording and playback captures or plays back performances on a USB drive:
The USB to Device port allows you to connect your USB flash drive and use it as a built-in piano recording studio. You can store your performances directly on the USB flash drive as audio songs. These songs are stored in WAV format, so you can listen back using the keyboard’s on-board speaker system, or conveniently play them on a computer, transfer them to a portable media device or upload them to share with friends online.

Acoustic Chambering and proprietary Yamaha engineered acoustic dampers are used to create genuine acoustic resonance and vibration:
Acoustic Chambering and proprietary Yamaha engineered acoustic dampers are used to create genuine acoustic resonance and vibration. Each speaker is specially positioned and a separator is used to help restrain and disperse the generated sound. The result is a BIG sound from an ultra compact cabinet.

MIDI Recording:
MIDI Recording allows the player to preserve their musical memories in the instrument’s internal memory or save them to USB. Recordings created on this instrument are saved in SMF format.
