Russian – American mezzo-soprano Evgenia Pirshina has been highly acclaimed for her operatic and concert performances throughout North and South America.Highlights of the season 2019-2020 are debut as Maddalena in “Rigoletto” by G. Verdi in Solis Theater (Montevideo), Opera Gala with Panama National Symphony Orchestra, solo recitals in Montevideo, Florence, Charleston, SC and Chicago.Next season Evgenia Pirshina will appear as Kashcheyevna in “Kashchey the Deathless” by N. Rimsky-Korsakov in Washington DC Metropolitan area and will perform songs by Gustav Mahler with Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra under the button of Maestro Timothy Verville.
In 2018, Evgenia took part in the production of the opera by P. Tchaikovsky “Iolanta” of the Chicago Opera Theater.Since 2017, she is a soloist of Opera Aeterna, actively performing in Chicago and New York.

Currently he is on the staff of Chicago Lyric Opera’s Ryan Opera Center as a coach and pianist. For four seasons he was the managing director and principal coach for the young artist training program at Florida Grand Opera in Miami, FL.Previously he served on the music staff of many opera companies in the US and abroad, including LA Opera, Dallas Opera, Opera Colorado, Arizona Opera, and for many summers at Santa Fe Opera.
