Helen Jane Long has a very signature sound yet remains undefinable. She has become one of the world’s highest-streaming female pianist and composers in the world. Helen is a multi-instrumentalist composing, arranging, scoring, performing and producing her own music and her visions go beyond just musical notes. With every album comes detailed conceptual illustrations enabling the listener to explore into the imagination of the artist and her own thoughts and inspirations. Helen has created a surreal world, pushing the boundaries of what we perceive as so-called piano music, and transporting the listener on their own unique sensory journey.

Helen’s first ever music video, (from the track with the same name ‘When Angel’s Rise’ ) won “Best Inspirational Film” in both the New York Film Awards and Los Angeles Global Film Awards.
She has written extensively for film and television with credits including Mercedes Formula One, the British Airways’ multi-million-pound campaign, To Fly, To Serve, (The Aviators was released on her Intervention album). Helen also wrote the theme tune for Ricky Gervais’s hugely popular TV series, ‘Life’s Too Short. She has worked alongside prestigious composers including Howard Shore, who invited her to be part of his music team on the Academy Award-winning Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Helen’s latest piano release SOLUS is a collection of solo piano pieces recorded in 2020 when the world stood still. SOLUS album is released ahead of Helen’s newest piano and string album due early 2026.
