First Annual “Notes in Summer” Concert with Sean Harris

Sean Harris is a singer who performs in multiple languages and styles. His voice range is baritone to counter tenor and he happens to be blind. His first public performance, was at my elementary school graduation. He went on to win various vocal competitions in high school city wide, placing superior to highly superior.
He sings at weddings, birthday parties, senior facilities, events, private affairs like at Janna Wacker’s house, whose late-husband Wacker Drive is named after; and Kathy Brown’s Annual Fundraising Event in Lincolnwood. He has performed at several events with the late Joe Vito and Johnny Frigo, at The AT&T Center in Lisle Illinois, and other organizations from Chicago’s City Hall to The Thompson Center, The Cultural Center to Navy Pier, a Juneteenth celebration that was held at Rainbow Beach after the parade, and nightclubs to country clubs.
Sean has been in singing competitions and auditioning for contests across Illinois for decades including the finals at the Regal Theater, Cirque du Soleil, Star Search, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and American Idol. He has performed for Sons of Italy and The Italian American Foundation, Black Voices of Cabaret, Chicago Cabaret Professionals, and The South Shore Opera. Unity Church Chicago, Unity Church Oak Park, Unity Church of The North Shore, University Church of Chicago, The Coqu D’or at The Drake Hotel, The Harold Washington Library, The Dusable Museum and more. He has headlined The Jazz Faure Project in Chicago Illinois, Pittsburg Pennsylvania, and Paris France.
Currently Sean performs at Gibson’s Steakhouse, 5 pm to 8 pm on Saturdays with Lloyd Wilson.
