American Chamber Music Society: ECHOES OF BOHEMIA
March 13 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The American Chamber Music Society Presents:
ECHOES OF BOHEMIA
“Electric . . . [the] performance extracted all the tensions, fun, and charm that can be found”
~THIRD COAST REVIEW
ECHOES OF BOHEMIA is a rhapsodic evening exploring the folk spirit, emotional depth, and restless lyricism of three beloved composers: Dvorak, Janacek, and Smetana. By turns reflective and charged, this program brings Bohemia’s musical voice vividly to life in works for piano, violin, and cello. ACMS welcomes the poetic French cellist Juliette Herlin in her series debut, while critically acclaimed pianist Christopher Guzman returns for his second appearance. They’ll join Eric Gratz, ACMS Director and international prizewinning violinist.
ACMS performs all concerts at PianoForte, an intimate 75-seat concert hall with spectacular acoustics in downtown Chicago’s South Loop neighborhood. A reception and meet-and-greet with the performers will follow this 90-minute program.
Tickets are $25 GA/$10 students.
