Keith Norbutt is an actuary by day, flutist by night, currently living in Chicago.  Originally from Pittsburgh, he earned a bachelor of music degree from Duquesne University, studying with Bernard Goldberg and Wendy Webb Kumer.  Subsequently, he earned a master’s degree in economics from George Mason University.   An avid chamber musician, Keith specializes in arranging pieces for flute ensembles of various sizes, from duos to full flute choirs.  He also performs frequently with the Lakeview Orchestra in Chicago, and currently studies with Emma Gerstein.  Keith is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

 Don Broderick studied organ and piano at Duquesne University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in performance with a concentration in sacred music.  He has served as music director, choir director and organist at numerous churches in the Pittsburgh area, and is currently assistant organist at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shadyside.  Don is also an information technology professional and, during daylight hours, works as a web developer for Reed Smith LLP.

 Maggie Broderick is a flutist, linguist and educator in the Pittsburgh area.  She studied flute at Duquesne University, earning a bachelor of music education, and also holds a Ph.D. in foreign language education from the University of Pittsburgh.  She teaches online classes and mentors Ph.D. students at a variety of institutions.

 Jennifer Wilhelms is a flutist, teacher and writer based in Chicago.  She performs frequently with the Chicago Composers Orchestra, and recently joined the faculty at the Academy of Movement and Music in Oak Park.  This fall she will launch a statewide recital tour which features music with ties to Illinois.  Jennifer’s research currently focuses on late 19th– and early 20th-century pedagogical concepts.
