Rates and Services

Audio Recording

Rates:

  • $150 for 1-hr (60-minutes) of recording time
    • Files are delivered as .WAV via Dropbox
    • CD’s available upon request; $5 per disc
    • Hall rental, piano rental, and audio engineer are included
  • $150 for a live concert recording
    • Includes audio only

Our hall is perfectly suited for recording solo classical, chamber ensemble, smaller jazz groups, or singer/songwriter and acoustic acts. We are equipped to record reference quality audio either live or in session.  

Video Recording

Rates:

  • $225 for 1-hr (60-minutes) of recording time (Audio and Video)
    • Files are delivered as .MP4 via Dropbox
    • DVD’s available upon request; $10 per disc
    • Hall rental, piano rental, and engineer are included
  • $250 for a live concert recording
    • Includes audio, video, and webcasting

Our hall is equipped with three robotic cameras that shoot Full HD video, all operated from our control room. These are ideal for concert capture or audition video recordings. If you are in need of a more complex video project we are also equipped to bring in extra cameras and help you create a studio-style music video.

 Webcasting

Rates:

  • A live webcast is included in the price of a concert video recording

Whether it's a live concert or a studio session we are able to live stream to YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook using our robotic camera system. Your concert or presentation could be viewed from anywhere in the world and open you up to a much larger audience.

  Standard delivery times:
  • 5-7 Business Days
  • Next Day Rush Processing - subject to a $75 Rush Processing Fee. Rush Processing requests must be made at time of booking and are subject to availability.

Staff

Victor Le Jeune - Lead Engineer / Director of Photography

A native of Miami, Victor moved to Illinois in 2008 to pursue a Bachelor of Music from Northern Illinois University where he also studied Audio Engineering. With experience in a wide variety of production environments and a passion for producing exceptional media, Victor’s main objective is to ensure every project exceeds clients’ expectations.

Joshua Arizmendi - Assistant Engineer

Joshua graduated with a BA in Audio Arts & Acoustics from Columbia College Chicago, focusing mostly on studio recording.  After graduation, he started doing more live stereo recordings of orchestras, choirs, and barbershop quartets. He started working at PianoForte Studios as an intern in the winter of 2015 and then completed a three month internship at Chicago Recording Company in May of 2016. Joshua is currently an Assistant Engineer at PianoForte Studios.

Amber Carter - Assistant Engineer

Amber Carter is a recording/mix/live sound engineer based out of Chicago. She has mixed and mastered multiple albums/singles and run a number of live events ranging from jazz/rock shows to musical theatre and a variety in between. Her wide skill set and passion for audio is displayed as she puts forth her best efforts in all tasks presented to her. Amber loves being a part of the creative process from start to finish and plans to continually expand and improve her skill set as an audio professional.


Courteney Castillo - Assistant Engineer

 

Courteney Castillo is an Assistant Audio Engineer at PianoForte Chicago. Along with her work at  PianoForte, Courteney is pursuing a dual degree in Jazz Studies for Voice and Audio Arts & Acoustics from Columbia College Chicago. Her professional projects include the co-production/engineering of her demo album as well as organizing solo performances for charitable organizations. As a member of Columbia College’s vocal jazz ensemble, Chicago Vox, she has been afforded a unique opportunity to hone her skillset as an artist by touring local venues, including the Jazz Showcase, while also fulfilling the role of audio engineer for the group. Courteney is excited to combine her career aspirations of vocal jazz and audio engineering by regularly recording and engineering the group's repertoire. She is grateful for the opportunity to learn professionally in her field and hopes to collaborate as part of PianoForte’s team with her knowledge of jazz music and audio recording techniques.
