Recital Hall Rental

PianoForte Chicago’s 8th floor showroom is a beautiful and intimate recital hall perfectly suited for recitals, recording sessions and is now available to rent for teacher’s private lessons. Its elegant and historic touches, its acoustics and the sublime Fazioli piano on stage make it a destination for professional performances, various chamber music ensembles, private musical events and parties, and student recitals involving family and friends.

We usually have two pianos on stage which allows duo pianists or concerto performances with two pianists.

We invite you to visit the space which was originally designed as a drama studio in the late 1800s for Anna Morgan. Ibsen’s play “The Wild Duck” was premiered on our stage. The space offers an intimate salon atmosphere one rarely finds outside of Europe with excellent acoustics and stage lighting, as well as high-grade recording capability.

Standard Fee for Rentals and Recording Sessions
Monday- Saturday:
$200 for a rental for up to 2 hours.
$100 for each additional hour.
Sundays:
$300 for a rental up to 2 hours.
$100 for each additional hour.
To Add Live Recording: $100
*Refreshments may be served and receptions may be held before or after performances at the fee mentioned above.

Standard Fee for Teachers Private Lessons Rental
$20 per hour.
This is a wonderful opportunity to expose your students to one of downtown Chicago’s oldest artist communities. Each piano is maintained by the same technicians who work on PianoForte’s distinctive concert grand instruments, and the intimate hall gives your pupil practice playing in a performance setting.
