SCHIMMEL Pianos

A fine piano defies description, even in the most eloquent of words. The only way to get an accurate impression of the outstanding qualities of a Schimmel piano is to actually sit down and play one. Feel and hear the tender loving care that is put into each individual instrument. Ever since Wilhelm Schimmel built his first piano in 1885, the name Schimmel™ has stood for quality.

Schimmel is one of the few piano manufacturing concerns in which the art and craft of traditional piano manufacturing is still being carried on by direct descendents of the founder of the company, resulting in top quality instruments. It is with good reason that the brand name Schimmel enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide.

Schimmel pianos are manufactured exclusively in Braunschweig, Germany. At this historic production site, Schimmel cultivates the traditional art and craft of piano making.

At Schimmel, "Quality" is a word on everyone's lips. Experience passed on from generation to generation is purposefully integrated into the day-to-day work of building these fine pianos.

The traditional piano is an extremely complex musical instrument with over 12,000 individual parts assembled in countless work operations. With tender, loving care, the tonal character and playability are formed, and the instrument tuned. This requires experience and a love for one's profession. Such are the craftsmen at Schimmel.

SCHIMMEL GRANDS are built to last with a tone quality of outstanding excellence and elegance. Their extraordinary attributes have gained them worldwide recognition, and playing on them is a joy.

To meet your individual requirements, Schimmel Grand pianos are available in a variety of lengths and styles.
